not a holiday weekend

we decided to play at sand mtn. once we weren't liking what mother nature had to offer. knowing that it was the weekend and a saturday, the rain wasn't keepin' those california people away. as you can tell, we had a hard time parking the truck. the mountain wasn't too bad as long as you stayed back. lots of rails.

sticky boys

i know, another "boy" post. i'm telling you that there isn't much to do in this town when the weather is crappy, as it has been. nevada has turned into oregon! we've had rain happening since winter was over, ha-ha, winter isn't over yet! the weekends are miserable! the sunny days are only during the work week and when the weekend comes, if we see the sun, it's for a few minutes! happy 13th ASHTON!

our first time out with our new hobby and all we get driving through town is pointing, staring, laughing...you know the drill, anything a little different or creative gets the laughs. we built our baja to perform like any of those big, gas guzzling SUVs you see on the road, you know the one's, they look like that can just roll right over the tops of all you lowered VWs, just like Monster Jam! well, anyway, we're going to use the heck out of our SUVW and our new canoe!

i realize this was a few weeks ago. i've been trying to be good at work and not use the computer for so many "personal" things but... i don't have this picture saved anywhere else, i know, an excuse. the niello show was a surprising amount of fun. i really didn't expect the turn out they had. went home with a sunburn.
