such a poser

i do plan to surf one day; just don’t know much about it now. love the ocean and going to the beach…and yes, the surf board did get wet while we were in santa cruz and no, it just didn’t get rained on…there’s just something about this board. it’s been on almost every vw we’ve encountered, even been on other people’s vws. it makes the cars look really cool and gives people something to talk about. jason has had it since he was a punk out there trying to find himself. it’s just something about it…

sweet boys

this is another non-vw related post. we took the boy to skim board in santa cruz for a couple of days at his request for his birthday. we had a great time, not to hot, not to cold, just right to play in the water, eat seafood and ride some boardwalk rides! we came home via hwy 1 and stopped for a few days in napa for a ball game.

neillo vw

we really like this show. it's well organized, there's a good turn out, the raffle is good, we interact with clubs that normally aren't hanging out with us (water pumpers), the weather is guaranteed to be great and they feed you! if you want to start your year out with a bang, try this one next year!

trouble

we had taken out the "new" rail for a test & tune and found that our little rail needs a little bit more power. it will be a lot of fun when all the kinks are worked out...jason is thinking turbo!
