volkswagen of america has been hard on companies/vendors selling products to vw enthusiasts that have the trademarked vw emblems on them. many of my favorite t-shirt vendors have disappeared over the years and it’s tough to get a “badass” tee anymore. the shirts which are cool enough to look at have altered logos or just none at all. but what about permanent logos…? a large majority of vw people have a logo on them somewhere or at least a reference to one, go here to see some: http://volksarama.smugmug.com/tattoos

hot air-cooled nights

amendment 21 and volks kruzers teamed up to hold a hot parking lot vw event close to downtown reno. the weather was tame and a nice breeze picked up in the afternoon. we had heard a cruise even broke out when the sun went down.

the event gave us the opportunity to toodle around town on bikes: looking at the han cars, teasing the security guards, visit to fibercraft, movie, lunch and a few unmentionable places were visited.
